Now that Degewo has realised that it is in the Graunstrasse 7 possibly facing major problems, she actually sends an employee out - from door to door, unannounced, with one foot in the gap, Jehovah's Witness style - to snoop around the flats. She holds a tablet in her hand and looks curiously at the floor coverings in (almost) all the flats while she makes complaints about trivialities, as already mentioned, completely unannounced (bicycles in the corridor, illegal doormats, etc.). Only in our flat did she not ring the bell (my wife was at home), even though we were also behaving "illegally".
Thought log after this eerie encounter:
"Thursday, 31.10.2018 approx. 3 pm, a woman is standing in front of a tenant's door, I've just come from Obi and greet her (I've never seen her in the building before) and briefly overhear the conversation with the tenant who is just opening the door as I get into the lift. She introduces herself: My name is Mrs Kleinecke, I'm from Degewo..... the lift closes the door."
The same woman wrote me a manipulative e-mail a few days earlier saying that I shouldn't worry about the pollution and that it would be difficult to pass on the flat. All the blah blah blah after the first sentence was a lie (Lies are typical for Degewo, as I have realised several times):
"Firstly, we would like to allay your concerns about health hazards due to pollution.
You have already realised that we as landlords do not have to comply with the wishes of a tenant who is moving out.
We understand your desire for a smooth and uncomplicated change of tenant.
However, as you may have already learnt from the press and radio, the housing market situation in Berlin has deteriorated.
fundamentally changed.
As a state-owned housing company, it is not always possible for us to dispose freely of every flat.
Especially flats that are subject to social housing, such as the flat you are renting.
Certain requirements often have to be met. As a rule, it is therefore almost impossible for the landlord to consider requests for new tenants.
We therefore ask you to initially assume that you must hand over the flat to us completely vacated.
Upon receipt of your cancellation, we will of course endeavour to conduct a benevolent review.
However, we would like to refer you once again to our comments above and ask for your understanding if we are unable to fulfil your request.
Thank you very much!"

Hello, do you have Mrs Kleinecke's email address?
Hello, Mrs Kleinecke used to be under [email protected] reachable. However, the e-mail no longer works. I only have the signature from your last e-mail:
Ingrid Kleinecke
Customer Centre North
KUZ North
Brunnenstrasse 128
13355 Berlin
Phone: 030 26485-2388
[email protected]
All DEGEWO employees used to be reachable under the e-mail ID "[email protected]".
Allegedly, these e-mail addresses no longer work.
If someone from the press department is currently reachable in this way, the other addresses should still work (at least internally).
For some time now, the telephone extensions have all been redirected to -5000 as the central "customer service".
That's what you call customer service... Nobody can be contacted directly anymore and doesn't call back even after a callback request to the head office.
Degewo doesn't respond to the rental mob, they're not human enough for that.
The e-mail addresses "[email protected]" work until you are blocked. This happened to me yesterday. I then used a different e-mail address to send it, which then went through. You can tell by the fact that an automatic reply is configured for some of them.
